Randy Weidman Eagle Scout Project: Sep. 13, 9am-4pm

Posted on Aug 16 2014 - 10:36pm

I am very excited to announce that my eagle project will be Saturday, September 13 from 9am-4pm. I will be conducting a food drive at the Greenbriar (10am-2pm) and Franklin Farm (9am-4pm) Giants. I have attached a flyer below, and would really appreciate it if you could sign up for one or more of the slots, which are available to scouts in two-hour increments, from 9am-11am, 11am-1pm, and from 1pm-3pm at the Franklin Farm Giant, and in two-hour increments from 10am-12pm and from 12pm-2pm at the Greenbriar Giant. I also still need an adult volunteer at the Greenbriar Giant from 12pm-2pm. I will serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack for those who volunteer. Jobs to be done include flyer distribution to incoming shoppers, and good collection, sorting, and packaging. Please sign up for a slot if at all possible. I truly appreciate the help and the sacrifice of your time to help other families in our community.

Inclement Weather Guidance

Posted on Aug 6 2014 - 10:51pm
Over the summer months please keep a close eye on your email leading up to, and during, the Wednesday evening troop meetings, in the event that we need to cancel or cut short the meeting on short notice.  As we are meeting exclusively outside until the school opens back up the first week of September, we're at the mercy of the weather (e.g. rain, thunder and lightning).
